Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Feature development in C# and C++ on new and existing products
• Software development to interface with a variety of third-party sensors
• Data acquisition from scanning devices
• Database development in SQL
• Filtering of spurious and redundant data
• Packaging and distribution of data to algorithmic processes
• Modification of existing algorithms and design of new algorithms
• Participate in and lead feature design meetings and feature reviews
• Work within a development team to deliver high-quality software

Requirements

• Great attitude and willingness to learn
• Familiarity working within an Agile environment
• Familiarity with C#, C++, JS, HTML, CSS, SQL
• Knowledge of data modelling techniques
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting software and hardware
• Familiarity with web-based applications

Preferred Skills

• Database and database query languages
• Machine learning
• GPU libraries and programming

Additional Information

This position is based out of our head office in Salmon Arm, BC with a requirement to travel up to 20%.
