About Us
Raptor was founded in 2009 by four partners with deep roots in the forest industry. We took our passion for the wood processing industry and applied it to optimization and controls. Today we have shipped more than 70 custom-designed systems to sawmills around North America.
We’re founded on the idea that big companies don’t want to spend the time to provide customized solutions. So, we filled that gap. We take the time to understand your specific requirements and craft a solution that is ideal for you. Our customers are sawmills that are looking for superior customer support and a more personal approach to optimization and control systems solutions.
We realize that no two sawmills are alike, each mill has different requirements. A one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work for most mills when it comes to optimization and controls. That’s why we endeavour to provide a customized service to all of our customers.
